 Tanya Witt, Founding Attorney, earned her law degree from Harvard Law School in 1994. A double Ivy League graduate, she attained her undergraduate degree magna cum laude (“with great honor”) from the University of Pennsylvania. At the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Witt was a member of the varsity Cross Country and Track teams.Ms. Witt is admitted to practice law in both Illinois and North Carolina. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and its Family Law Section and the Chicago Bar Association and its Domestic Relations Committee.From 2010 to 2012, Ms. Witt wrote a column for Chicago Lawyer Magazine that discussed cutting-edge issues in the business of boutique law firm practices. Her articles have also been published in the Law Day edition of the Daily Law Bulletin, which is mailed to every attorney in Illinois. Today’s Chicago Woman (“TCW”) magazine published Ms. Witt’s article on Illinois gestational surrogacy law. Ms. Witt has instructed attorneys for the Chicago Bar Association. Prior to founding her own practice, Tanya Witt practiced law in the Chicago office of Baker & McKenzie, one of the world’s largest international law firms. Prior to moving to Chicago in 1997, Tanya practiced law with one of the largest law firms in Charlotte, North Carolina. |

 Sara Pecherek Hawes, Associate Attorney, obtained her law degree in 2010 from Loyola University Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Sara earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 2007. Sara is a passionate advocate for the rights of parents and children. During her time at Loyola, she was the lead articles editor on the Children’s Legal Rights Journal. She also was a legal intern at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
